“ A Daytripper’s Guide to Manitoba” says this is one of the most unusual structures in Manitoba. The church and the adjoining Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes proved to be just that. Located east of Birds Hill Park on PR 212 you will see this onion-domed church and this grotto. Take time to walk around the structures. The grounds were officially closed but a friendly passing local invited us to walk through the cemetery (located to the north of structures). Tours are offered in July-October but check website for times. Heritage day on the last Sunday in August is suggested as a good opportunity to see this area and take in the usual assortment of pioneer artifacts and displays.

A meaningful journey through the stations of the cross in a unique setting. Wish I could have been able to participate in the morning mass. Wonderful place to visit and experience the Spirit that gave birth to the creating of this place.

A really unique tourist site.The "Grotto" which was modelled after the big one in France is quite a site to behold.

Really beautiful Church. Couldn't go in but went through the grotto and grounds. A beautiful afternoon.
