I usually don't write reviews. But I would like people to know about this place. As soon as you walk in your name and temperature is taken and you need to use the hand sanitizer. The staff and owner really care about the people and are doing a great job keeping the place safe.
I think the owner may be a police officer in the day time ? I been there about 5 times now and almost every time he's talking to Transit Police outside and leaning on the car. And yesterday RCMP came and was talking to him. Please correct me if I'm wrong... But I think this is amazing. It makes the customers who are not doing anything wrong feel safe. The hookah here is always amazing. Yes, it's a bit pricey but for the quality and how long it lasts it's much better than other lounges. Amazing place. And this is our go to hookah lounge. Just wanted to write a review to let everyone know how great this place is !
My friends and I decided to start coming here after having such horrible experiences at bloo across the street. The prices are about the same (a little cheaper at Bula actually) but the quality and vibes of the establishment are miraculously different. The only thing I would point out that happens continuously when me and my friend are there (we come quite regularly) is that our seats are constantly being switched or moved to accommodate others. Apart from that, the DJ is great and the atmosphere can’t compete with any other hookah places i’ve been to. Definitely recommend!
Amazing service! The employees are friendly , service is outstanding. Would recommend any one to go to bula lounge. One fo the best best hookah lounge in lower mainland. Their security is very professional, and very friendly as well. Very respectful doorman. Overall amazing place to go to!
Great customer service even if they are SUPER busy. They have one of the best DJs in Vancouver that plays every weekend. They have fancy hookahs that actually have great qualities.
However they’ve increased the price for everything including hookahs to even cakes! It does make sense because they have updated everything inside the lounge. But just letting you know for one hookah and 2 teas and a small piece of cheese cake you gotta pay almost $50! Which is still worth it. I wish they bring back their big chocolate cakes...
Anyways this place is highly recommended to visit!!
Absolutely amazing hookah lounge. The team at Bula has completely revived this place.
Great layout and beautiful decor, including some original art on the walls.
Service was amazing and we had our hookahs at our tables very quick. All of the staff was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of.
The hookahs are high-quality and I especially liked the original one. They were also made perfectly. We sat there for nearly 2 hours and not once did they get too harsh or unpleasant.
We were there on a weekend so there was also a live DJ. They picked an absolutely amazing DJ that was playing a variety of hits all night. A quick look around the lounge showed that people were having an amazing time and some people were even dancing.
Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough. Great hookah, amazing staff, and good vibes. I’m a customer for life!
