Metrotown Stn Bay 11

Considering the 49 is arguably the busiest bus route running through Metrotown it makes sense to segregate its stop from the rest of the station. As a regular Metrotown patron the walk across Central Blvd still takes some getting used to but other transit passengers may delight in its location right outside the SkyTrain station. The waiting area is much larger than when it was at the station, and there is ample cover from precipitation (though it doesn't extend to the stop itself); the sidewalk is wider than normal, allowing room for waiting passengers and passersby. Overall an improvement from the old stop at Stn Bay 3.

The 49 route buses are convenient and the distance between vehicles is short. There is also a long way to go to UBC with a one-zone fee if you use this bus. 49 Route departure time interval short. Very useful.
