Mei Mei Alterations and Dry Cleaners

I thought it was great service. I came in here at 1pm to get alterations done on an expensive sport bra. They were going to charge $20-30 at Stitch It and other Metrotown stores. My mom recommended coming here and I was only charged $10 cash. I waited on their comfortable armchair and she was done within 10 minutes. The lady was super sweet, too. Side note: there may or may not be some language barrier. I only spoke to her with my limited Mandarin Chinese vocabulary as she was comfortable servicing in Chinese (she speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin).

Brought in a friend's chiffon grad dress to hem. Owner says she cannot do it because the multi layers are too difficult. That was straight up unprofessional and she should not be a seamstress.

This place is garbage. Took a dress in to get taken in and they either cut a line across the dress by accident or something snagged on the dress. The seamstress did not take responsibility and was yelling at me deflecting the blame. Do not take your clothes here unless you want it ruined.

I'm not sure what the other reviews are about, but I got two pairs of jeans fixed and a jacket dry cleaned last week and I'm very happy about the result. I'll definitely come back if I need anything else fixed.

I took my clothes here for dry cleaning. It was good before washing. After washing, I took my clothes home and it became tattered. I couldn't wear them. When I took it away, I did n’t expect it to happen. I did n’t check it.
