Greater Vancouver Building Maintenance

GVRD Building Maintenance  was able to schedule the work within a week or so of providing a bid. The workers were great. Our house is tall - 3 stories - with skylights and gutters. This was a tough job, not one we could have managed ourselves. The workers were courteous and on time. And it was kinda cool to watch them at their craft. Our windows look great! First time we've had a cleaning in about 5 years. Not going to wait as long for the next cleaning.

I had my flat roof re-done by the roof repair specialist last week. They were referred to me by my neighbor and I decided to go with them as they were the middle bid out of three estimates I received. I was really very pleased with the quality of work as well as the professionalism all the workers portrayed. Scott was very nice and did a great job explaining everything from the start.

What a nightmare of an experience.  If only I could go back in time and choose a different company I would. I called this company because of the good reviews I read on the internet but don't believe them. The roofing estimate I got from this company was $800 for repairing a leak on my roof with one year warranty and I was convinced by owner’s high pressure sales pitch that I was going to get such superior quality with his workmanship that it was well worth the money.  It was such a lie. The next day after rain there was water leak , I called roofer and express my confidence that he’s going to make things right but instead he asked for $200 more in order to fix his job and when I refused to pay he said that he is not going to come. I feel like I got so ripped off! I gave him an opportunity to put the roofing job right and gave him an acceptable time line to respond and correct the issue one last time before taking any action and writing reviews but it seems this company has no standards, so hopefully this review makes other consumers aware of the issue and no one will use them in the future. Consumers beware :there are two more reviews against this contractor on Better Business Bureau website with same issue. I’m not able to file both a customer review and a reportable complaint with BBB about a single marketplace interaction so you will not see my review there.

I called him to come and fix the leakage of my roof . He charged me $800 to fix the problem but next day when rain start the roof had the same problem. I called him several times and he want more money to come fix it and said I didn't guarantee my work. I said you didn't fix the problem , you get paid to fix the roof and roof has still the same problem. All he did is hang up on me after treating me that if i put a review for him he will ruin my reputation by writing false review on my business. The act that can be sued for defamation statements. I researched his business and there is a couple of same complain in BBB site about him.

The guys are definitely reliable and punctual. The quality of their work is superb. Jason will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable with your project. My roof is fixed and looks great. I would highly recommend them.
