A huge thank you to Teresa and the staff at Choice Memorial. They were so helpful and compassionate when we came in to plan our funerals last spring. It was comforting and releasing to know that all was in place for us. I came in with our three sons after my husband passed and we had a very positive meeting about how to finalize plans. As a family we were relieved and grateful for the help and extra ideas regarding writing on the casket, etc. When we had our visitation and burial, the staff was kind, helpful and organized. It was such an easy day in the sense that they had all the details taken care of. It wasn't easy for them, as the new regulations had just come down, but they did their utmost to make it as positive for our family and a few close friends as they could. Darcy was extra thoughtful at the gravesite and we are so thankful. We sincerely give the entire staff our gratitude for their kindness and professionalism during our grief.

Our family needed the services of a funeral company in Calgary. Based on all the favourable reviews on Google, we choose Choice Memorial. From start to finish the experience was professional and caring. We initially met with Taylor, who was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. Since then, we spoke mostly with Teresa, who is the owner and funeral director. She reassured us that we could call her at any time if we had any questions...we felt very comforted knowing we could do that. Basically, everyone that we saw or called was compassionate and caring, and followed through very promptly with all of our requests and questions. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the services were nicely arranged to our expectations. Choice Memorial provides an excellent service and we would not hesitate to recommend them or make future arrangements.

Choice Memorial was there every step of the way during the time of my Grandmother’s passing. They were there for us and in contact with us while my Grandmother was in the hospital, palliative and when she passed away at the hospice. No matter what time of day, they answered emails and picked up our call. From hospital to funeral, everything was professionally and flawlessly done. There wasn’t a single question they couldn’t answer and their services goes above and beyond their competitors. They quite literally do it all at the most affordable cost in the city. When my father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly I didn’t know what to do. I was navigating a world I was not familiar with. No one listed their prices and calling around there was no way I could afford what other places charge. I was referred to Choice and the first thing I noticed on their website was they listed their price. I knew what to expect and it would be 5 times less than what other places were quoting. When I called not only did I find that there were no hidden extras, but they were the most compassionate and caring place I spoke with. That was more important than anything. They made me feel like they actually cared and I would have chosen them strictly based on that. Customer service is important to me and Choice Memorial has that in spades. Every one I spoke with was the same. You can tell that they are like a family to one another and that was comforting. When my mom passed away less than 5 months later I knew who to call. I dealt with the same person both times, Eileen, and she was great! Everyone I have dealt with has been. They have been amazing and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They shared my load and helped me through the most difficult times in my life and I will forever be grateful to them. Whether you are looking for somewhere on a budget, or you just want to deal with a company that actually cares about their customers, this is the place you want to call. While I hope I don’t have to deal with them again any time soon, it has opened my eyes to my own life. Once things settle down my husband and I will be back to prearrange things if anything is to happen to us. I hope that I never have to deal with them, but if anything ever happens they will be our first call. Now stop reading this and go call them! I promise it will be the best call you will have to make.
