Central United Church

I love this church, especially for their recovery service on Sundays at 6:00 pm. This place makes you feel like family and everyone is welcome. Also houses a ton of recovery meetings (NA, CA, AA etc) and other cool things to do ☺️

Ah, "Recovery Central!" So many meetings per square foot it's a miracle those ancient sandstone towers haven't vibrated apart by now. AA, CA, NA, GA, OA - every 12-Step group you can think of. Stories and architectural accommodations for same going back to 1903. A 'Celebrate Recovery' evening service with a band of serious rockers, pickers and jazzies all playing their souls out for their Step 12. Giving back. With astonishment. With joy. With FAR too much coffee. Got issues? Come on down. Always room for one more..

Lots of meeting space, shared big industrial kitchen, clean hallways, bathrooms and stairways. Have just about everything you could need for a meeting. Will be going back. Well taken care of for its age

Good people , helping Good people, the way God intended. There are no bad people . People struggle, and deal with thing in sometimes a unhealthy way. This is a place for everyone to feel welcome
