We had our wedding here this summer and everything went flawlessly. First and foremost- the sanctuary is so beautiful, open and inviting - we barely needed to decorate! The church staff were caring, quickly responded to emails, helpful and involved. We enjoyed our rehearsal the day before our wedding followed by the rehearsal dinner in the banquet space. They let us come in early to set up, allowed us to view the church several times to ensure all was perfect prior to our special day and lent us a few items with no hassle. The sound for our guests was well done and I cannot thank them enough for making our special day so special!

My great grandmother McKay's church.

This lovely peaceful church sits on a hill next to Confederation park almost in the middle of downtown Calgary. It is adjacent to bus routes 4 and 5 and just 8 blocks north of SAIT. The lower basement hall with kitchen is accessible and spacious with lots of room for family events, meetings and the sanctuary is gorgeous, perfect for weddings, concerts and of course Sunday services!

St. Giles church has a beautiful sanctuary and is located on the edge of Confederation Park where many people like to have their wedding photos taken after the ceremony. One of the things I like most about St. Giles is the sense of community among those who attend.

We attend special events at St Giles occasionally and it is a lovely place to be. The community, the beautiful stained glass windows and exceptional music make it one of Calgary's best kept secrets.
