The same folks dominate the squat racks almost every evening, and the staff does little to discourage this. Adding to the frustration is the short business hours, so there isn't really a good time to go if you have a regular job.

Here is my update. I was unhappy by getting a short email about "your schedule has been changed" 2 days before the class start. After communicating with the staff I understand that there are only two kids registered this class. So they have to combine two classes. They offer me couple options to solve the problem. I feel much better and find the suitable time. Now my kid is already did his first class with happy face. Coaches are very patient and friendly! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I like this place so far, just not sure how their program plan runs. I received a email 2 days before the class start, saying my kid's skating class time needs to be changed, half hour earlier than they posted. As a parent I have to deal with other things and make a plan. Now I am not sure if I need cancel this class and it is too late to register other class. My kid was excited and prepared for this...really hate this "CHANGE THE SCHEDULE" thing.

My favourite rec center. I love the drop in fitness. Pool and hot tub are great! They also are really helpful in the gym with questions.

Prices are higher than leisure centers and I have no clue why because there was less area for kids or toys to play with. An exercise class was going on the entire 2 hours we were there so we could only go so far and that meant no waves either. We were forced to purchase plastic swin pants in addition to the little swimmers diaper I already had for my 9 month old which I have never had to do at any other pool. They were also super picky about showering and soaking ourselves down, hair included before entering the water. The only thing I liked is that it was quiet.

We had a pass and spent the day in the pool with our three toddler girls. The water was very nice & warm and with the noodles, floats. And toys, it’s a friendly family centre! Acadia pool is so cold my girls cried having to take swim lessons there and administrators will not listen to public complaints over the cold water. Their toddler classes are empty & registrations are struggling. We went to Southland Leisure to get slightly warmer water but I’m afraid after visiting the Trico centre we’re ready to say goodbye to cold water.
