People were nice but the competency level is none. I feel bad to be like this but every year there were problems on their end. I can't do it anymore. Had to come twice and sit down due to their mistakes. Then our 30 minute touch up appointment went over an hour. I'm writing this as we are sitting down waiting to cut a cheque. Still miscommunications are happening. I'm practicing my breathing to calm down. Frustration is an understatement.

I have been filing my taxes through H&R block for 6 years now. Never faced an issue in any other city/province. Moved to Victoria in December of 2017 from Alberta. Was assured that taxes will be filed under BC. But instead the agent filed it under Alberta. I ended up paying the fee at the beginning of the filing procedure and also incurred additional dues from government of Alberta. I will be filing my taxes elsewhere this year but consumers need to be made aware of sheer negligence and incompetence displayed by employees at an organization like H&R block. Hillside Mall location, Victoria BC.
