Christie's Carriage House Pub

Christie's has a classic pub feel. The food is really nice. Generous portions of quality, well made pub fare. Nice beer list. The servers are friendly and fast. My new favourite neighborhood watering hole. I highly recommend

I loved the chicken wings there, their sauces taste like real homemade sauces. The service is great and we got the food very fast and warm. Thank you so much! We’ll be back for sure. 🙂

Love the atmosphere! Brings vibes of old world. Fries are really good and good selection of beer. Always seems to be a friendly crowd. Glad they never change what works!

To be honest,I was thinking after walking in that the food might be a little dicey because of its authentic pub atmosphere,then I got greeted by very nice staff and walked to my table and ordered the 'carriage burger' and WOW by far the best burger I've had in Victoria in the 6 years I've been here. Un real food and service. Definitely will be returning.

Unfortunately a really bad experience with them tonight. Arrived at the pub with my friend, were told the place was full, and we’d have to wait about 20 min. Fine, no problem, so I have a seat while my friend makes a call. I’m waiting about two minutes, someone else walks in, asks for a table and is seated right away! I say to the hostess when she’s back “Did some tables open up?” “Oh yeah, I can probably seat you now.” Great. When we are finally seated, it’s painfully aware how little they care about Covid protocols. None of the servers are wearing masks. We are in an approx 30’ x 20’ area, lots of tables, guests, and just one small token plexiglass screen. Can’t see us visiting anytime soon, and I don’t recommend anyone else does either.
