Capital City Center Hotel

I appreciate All they do. They're kindness towards others. Concerns for Our well being. Keeping the room nice and clean. This is an Awesome place to go.

I stay here as the government s way of ending homeless. The manager is a very rude woman and I've had no respectful conversations with her because she's never wrong and I feel like some of the staff see us as less then human due to the fact that I'm not allowed in their pub or restaurant or pool even though I'm a paying customer. Many peoples belongings go missing as a result of housekeeping cleaning our rooms, the maintenance guys makes woman uncomfortable and goes into ur suite unannounced but if we complain about anything the staff pick on you by always breathing down ur neck. My privacy is invaded often , their laundry services are horrible and I've killed three bed bugs and two cockroaches . After I tell the manager she says I'm mistaken and Victoria doesn't have cockroaches, and refuses to change me rooms

We had booked a room for two nights. We left after 1. At least they didn't charge us for the second night. We booked online and did not know that the Capital City Centre was being used to house people off the streets due to Covid 19. There was a stretcher in the lobby when we arrived. There was a notable police presence. There were many patrons that appeared to be under the influence of either alcohol or other drugs. There was a lot of loud swearing every time we were in the lobby or outside the front doors. There was significant drug activity in the parking lot across the street. There was a medical clinic next door to our room offering Naloxone on site. We felt unsafe. The hotel claims this was our "perception". Because that was our "perception" we have not been offered a refund. Isn't guest "perception" usually important to hotels? The room was nice, but not extra clean as I would have expected during Covid times. We had our dog with us and he was finding crumbs all over the floor. There were fingerprints on the dishes (which I don't believe are sanitized as there is no dishwasher in the unit). There were greasy hand prints on the wall, splatters on the wall and food in the sink. The bed was comfortable, the hide a bed was not. I had stayed here a couple of years ago and really liked it. This time it was terrible. I will never stay here again.

Ate breakfast at "scallywags" resturant inside hotel. Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious. Reasonably priced
