I love the food and location! The beans they roast are unreal. The patio on the street is really lovely, and they have very good COVID-19 precautions. The reason it's missing a star is due to very slow service (although it's worth the wait).
This is probably my favorite small cafe in Victoria. Excellent vibes and lighting in the evenings. Nice whiskey selection. Good beers. Food menu is small,
Delicious and well executed. Friendly staff. Bonus, check out the Koi fish pond inside the adjacent hotel!
I was planning to get an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Standard fare. My first confusion was seeing the breakfast sandwich was $9 and didn't include bacon. That's twice as expensive as I'd deem reasonable and still without the main part.
The iced coffee was easy enough to order, but my next confusion came when the two people behind me got their orders before my iced coffee was ready. Is it really that difficult to make?
They also don't have matcha, so while I see it available at pretty much every coffee it's not an option here. Good to know.
Airport prices and slow service mean I'll be passing on this next time I'm in the area. Unfortunate as it looked promising on Maps.
Looove their coffee, and the staff is always very pleasant! I wish there was a little more selection in baked goods, but aside from that I would definitely recommend stopping here for a coffee.
Great coffee, great beans, great staff. It’s a little crowded around the service area, but the covid setup is actually an improvement in that regard.
