It was not conveyed to us, the cost that we would have to pay to file our taxes. The person who filed our taxes even admitted to this. However they continue to take advantage of people during Covid 19. Shame on you!!

It wasn't well communicated that I would have to pay upfront, as I had told the employee that I would like the cost of my filing to come off of my return and she said that was fine and then she couldn't manage to get access to my CRA account and it took forever and at the end I was told that I had to pay up front. Which she didn\'t communicate well. I wasn't able to pay up front as I didn't have the funds to (which is why I was going to get my taxes done so I could receive a return that day and use that to pay any fee) so I had to get my partner to go to a bank and attempt to cash her bank draft which the bank could only release a limited amount of funds. I was able to pay the $50 fee for my taxes being filed but next year I will just file them myself as there was no advantage to me filing with H&R block as now I have to wait for a cheque from the government for my return anyways. The amount of work done does not justify the fee. Extremely disappointed with my service. If I could give you a 0/5 i would.

It was my first time doing my taxes and the the tax expert was very professional and explained everything I needed to know about my taxes very clearly. She was very kind and understanding.
