Pitt Meadows Museum General Store

Had a great time there with the grandchildren today. The staff is very, very helpful and there are enough "hands on" activities and exhibits to keep up the interest of 3 boys and 1 girl ages 3-8 for a good hour. Didn't get to the Forge, closed for the season.

Took a 2 1/2 yr old and a 6 yr old first to just see the museum and then a week later to join in the Thursday activities even the the youngest wasn't in the age they geared it at they let him participate. The museum they both enjoyed while the older took one of the search sheets the 2 yr old loved the touch activities. He didn't understand everything wasn't touchable though. The activity afternoon was phenomenal. There was so much prep put into it and so well run, the kids enjoyed so much and the staff were so delightfully friendly. It was well worth the $5 for just the quality of the crafts! We plan on going back next week.

A great little Museum. Many little things to explore. It's a great place to see some historic items. A great place to bring your family and learn some educated things and they got some ancient school chairs. Old telephone systems

The Pitt Meadows museum has interesting and diverse displays and gives a good idea of life in Pitt Meadows in the past 100 years.

It's too bad that you did not enjoy your experience :( It almost sounds like we may not have known you were in the building - unfortunately we have a very small staff and occasionally guests slip through (especially after a school tour when we've turned off our bell mat).
