Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad

Not typically my kinda thing to go and see... but 2 coworkers in Alberta told me I had to go, that it was a highlight of their trips into BC. I have to admit, it easily became one of mine too. Very well done. The creators put a lot of imagination and passion into their creation.... and its huge. I'd go back 100%. Also.... look for the nude beach 😝

Awesome experience! The passion that has gone into every little detail is fantastic. It feels as if it would take days to see everything. They weren't busy and the owner took the time to point out some of the more fascinating things to see. For anyone visiting or even just passing thru this is a must see! I will be coming again!

Disagree with previous reviewer Masochistik Mal'ganis. They charge a fair price. Countless hours went into building this place, it must be a mission to keep it maintained, dust free, rent, electricity, and maybe something for the staff to take home. Amazing detailed work.

It's an honor to meet the creator of this amazing place Poul! If you are the kind of person who likes attention to detail, you got it all here. It may look small, but it can take hours to see every scene the builders put together. Definitely highlight of the trip and will come back again! Poul is proud of his creation and showed me all the little fun details of this place - please say Hi to him when you visit!

The Desert Model Railroad is an absolutely fantastic and ingenious place. I'm not one to generally use hyperbole BUT this place is magical and the builders are super friendly and will answer any questions in the greatest detail. Even if you've never had a model railroad as a kid you will love this place!
