Powder Hounds Restaurant

Would give this 0 stars if I could. I have been a long time customer of Powder Hounds and last 2 experiences mean I won’t be returning. Manager is vaping while on shift, vaping at tables and behind the bar. Manager was unmasked during mask mandate, while walking around amongst customers, and still vaping without washing hands! This is during a PANDEMIC! Staff remained unmasked as well, while making drinks, and cooking. Bartender blew his nose and then continued to make drinks without washing his hands. I have never been more disgusted in a restaurant. We spoke to manager in regards to issue, and he said he was fine to do what he was doing. We will not be back and will make sure anyone who wants to attend is aware of how poorly run it is. This has also been brought to owners attention with no change

Discriminatory service. Completely ignored my table, shared with my significant other of 8 years whom happens to be a visible minority. Did not bring my drink for 20 minutes. Manager took shots with staff in front of guests, while guests unserviced and unattended too. Manager was extremely flippant and unprofessional. Steak dinners took 65 minutes to come out. Very poor service very poor experience. Would not return. Please dont waste your time or money in this disappointing establishment.

This place was reccomended to us as it was our first time up at SunPeaks and I was fairly disappointed. Very slow service, staff unaware of guests , wasn't checked on for very long periods of time. Even the manager on duty was not good was seen taking shots with servers while our table had no drinks for about 25 mins as we waited . I wanted to walk out but we had ordered food which was basically the only good thing even though it took very long to come out . Unfortunately won't be back.

Good food. Safe. Cozy.

Very disappointed, had to wait over an hour after ordering to get food, nearly walked out and was given a lame excuse for the delay. This had always been my favorite restaurant in Sunpeaks, not sure if I would ever go back after tonight.
