Kim, Mike and the team are all outstanding! The coffee and food menus are excellent in choice and quality. Try a tasty treat they're yummy. This place is so warm and welcoming - games to play and a variety of local made gifts all inexpensive. If you've not "bean" there check it out you won't be disappointed! 😁❤️

It screams welcome to a comfy place. Whether if you come in just for a quick cup of coffee or a spot to settle down for a while, it's super friendly. If you are an extreme coffee lover you can manage to fill a card to get whatever your heart desires within it. !!PLUS!! You can or may see dogs when you are here to order, not sit ins. During the summer there is an area where you can sit with your dogs outside. The food is awesome ultra amazing, the cookie is unique the complex texture while it would be beloved by folks who are chocolate lovers. With that its amazing to plop in a cozy booth and get a few games rolling! Totally recommended for folks needing a place to go with friends, new folks in the area to get the Castlegar feel.

Love this coffee shop so much! Always a pleasant experience: a clean, quaint coffee shop with comfortable seating options for short or longer stays and super friendly professional staff who are knowledgeable, helpful and kind! The twisted chai and wraps for lunch will keep me coming back again and again!

Love the Humble Bean. Great coffee, awesome food, good prices and amazing, helpful friendly staff. It does need to practice social distancing and sanitizing during covid 19. I was in there the other day for lunch and there were 21 people in there not including staff. Mostly groups of high school students. Nobody was 2 metres apart. We decided, sadly, to not enter. I was looking forward to coffee and an excellent wrap. Definitely worth stopping in. Best coffee shop in town!!!

I have done most of my networking here since Kim opened, and it has always been a rewarding visit. Kim and her staff could give lessons on customer service, and the food is always great. The Bean is Castlegars best feature.
