Beach Avenue Café used to be a bustling little restaurant with full tables, speedy and friendly service, and excellent food. The new owners have managed to completely turn this around. Today, our group of five visited a nearly empty restaurant where we were told that there was no Caesar salad dressing for the Caesar salad, no salmon for the salmon crepes, and the coffee was served cold. The two salads we ordered were served in a small, dessert sized bowl and consisted of mostly lettuce and red onion. The Asian salad was garnished with about 6 dried chow mien noodles and the spring salad came without the strawberries indicated on the menu. These salads are definitely not worth the $9 apiece. The orders of the other 3 parties in our group were made up incorrectly. We won’t be visiting again

Fantastic location with by Okanagan Lake with a great view. I like their breakfast menu however I do not recommend their sweet crepes. People are also nice and the price is reasonable

Not the best experience- the server was very friendly however the food was terrible. We ordered the Benny crepe which was supposed to include a poached egg on top of a crepe. Neither of ours came with poached eggs. Instead of taking our crepes back to redo the whole order, the cook just decided to make us eggs that we could put on top ourselves. The eggs were pretty much raw when they came to us and the yolk was broken on one. Would not recommend ordering anything with an egg here!

Have been here multiple times and enjoyed. This morning was an absolute atrocity! They didn't have sausages for breakfast at 9 am! Male waiter was the worst I've had... ever. Asked what we wanted to drink as we were walking to the table, fiancé said he'd have coffee, I never got to answer because he turned and walked away. He brought back two coffees assuming that's what I wanted. My London Fog was lacking vanilla, Bavarian sausage (which they brought even when he asked for bacon) was not cooked. Watched male waiter tell another table to get their own cream and sugar for coffee. Will not be returning ever again! Disappointing is an understatement!
