Very diverse group of people with 3 groups: Cantonese, Mandarin and English. They even have a group dedicated to children.

The English congregation of the church used to do a lot of outreach and events with the immediate Queen Mary Park community where the church is located. However, around 2010 they decided to change the direction of the ministry. Rather than welcoming and reaching out to the community, they focus primarily on 1st and 2nd generation Chinese who are either children of the Chinese congregation, or English speaking Chinese youth. The English side caters mostly to (university and under) youth and married couples (with the token white guy who has an existing relationship with someone). If you're not in either demographic, you'll feel out of place here. As a Baptist Church, the English congregation is not very active in evangelism outreach of any kind. The final straw was when they hired a non-Baptist, Presbyterian pastor (over several Baptist ones) who said the Baptist teachings were irrelevant when we went through the Baptist Statement of Faith. That's when I left this church for one which stood fully on their beliefs and values.
