Ricky's All Day Grill - Okotoks

It was nice to be able to go out for lunch before we were into isolation one more time due to Covid-19. The staff were leaving as they could not keep staff on as all restaurants were closing over the weekend. So staff were more interested in the leaving staff members who they may not see again. We had hoped to have a nice relaxing lunch and enjoy each other's company. The food was okay, not worth the money...found it to be expensive for the portions.

We ordered supper from Ricky's, my husband had the California club and said it was ok. I opened my container of prawn fettuccine Alfredo. My container was 1/2 full, hardly any sauce and cost $19. When I started to eat, I was very glad it wasn't very full as it tasted like dish water. Very disappointed 😞

Good breakfast good staff. Pretty standard breakfast place.

If I could leave zero stars I would. There was a horrible smell coming from the kitchen area where we were sitting, or it may have been the bathroom also nearby. It smelled like an old grease trap or old dish rags. Eggs Benny (blackstone)ordered medium poached were extra hard and the bacon was way under done ....hard eggs and mushy bacon made it all very unappealing. Hash browns were good. The smell though really left us all with a bad feeling Of an unclean establishment and even if some of the food tasted ok I couldn’t tell while breathing that smell.

Our waitress was one of the nicest I've had in awhile. She was so friendly and just an all out sweetheart. The avocado toast was yummy, and my friends meal was also delicious.
