Bethel Mennonite Church

We've been going here for ten years, and from the beginning the people have been like family to us. People authentically love one another and work through challenges together as we grow in our faith. The sermons are accessible, challenging, and encouraging (and always interesting!), and I am excited every week to worship God together with this group of people.

I love the inter-generational dynamic at Bethel! It is incredible to see every generation coming together in such a beautiful way. The services are great and the sermons are deep but easy to follow - I take something away every week. The leadership team is supportive and committed and I love being a part of this church!

Genuine Learning Academy - GLA is a newly opening Christian Middle School in the beautiful city of Langley. GLA is a BC certified Christian school for Grades 7 to 9. Most schools have more than 25 students in each class, and schools usually finish before 3pm. As for GLA, all classes have a small class size of around 10 students, and each student sets daily action plans using a tablet at the start of the day. GLA is a goal-driven school, so students are encouraged to set their goals and work towards accomplishing them throughout the day. Moreover, GLA finishes at 4pm with a Talent Education program everyday to help students develop not only their academic skills, but also their unique talents. GLA Open House is now happening throughout the summer for 2019-20 registration. GLA aspires to be a school community where every student, staff and parent can be a part and grow in faith and skills. Be a part of GLA and make your dream school come to life! 캐나다 밴쿠버의 자연이 아름다운 전원의 도시인 Langley에서 새롭게 오픈하여 Grade7~9의 학생들이 공부할 수 있는 Genuine Learnig Academy ' GLA' 입니다. GLA는 BC주 교육청으로부터 중등과정인 7학년부터 9학년의 인가를 받은 크리스천 학교입니다. 캐나다 대부분의 학교는 25명 이상의 학생들이 한교실에서 공부하고 오후 3시 이전에 하교를 하게됩니다. 하지만 GLA는 한 교실에서 10명 이내의 학생들이 한교실에서 공부하는 소규모 시스템을 갖추고 있으며 각 개인이 아침에 각자의 아이패드에 하루 계획을 만들고 스스로 계획에 맞게 진행하여 그날의 일과를 성공적으로 끝내는 성취의 기쁨을 안기게 해줍니다. 이 기쁨을 안을 수 있는 시간은 다른 학교와 다르게 4시에 특별프로그램까지 맞추어야 안을 수 있습니다. 현재 학교에서 오픈하우스를 진행하면서 입학상담도 받고 있습니다. 모든 교직원과 학생들이 가족처럼 지내며 신앙과 실력을 키울 수 있는 크리스천 중학교인 GLA !! 지금 이글을 읽으시는 학부모님께서는 자녀분들의 미래를 어느학교에 맡기고 싶으신가요?

It's great to be part of this faith family. The people care about each other and are so welcoming. We are so glad to be part of the North Otter community and love making connections with the families in this neighbourhood.

This church is full of genuine people. The young adults go out for lunch practically every Sunday, making it really easy to connect. I've really enjoyed being a part of this community.
