We got here at 2:45, was hoping they would have a reduced rate as we only had an hour in the park. They didn’t and we decided to check it out anyway. With the day rate and parking it’s pretty expensive. However the park is quite nice inside. They have reasonably sized cages for the animals and they seem well taken care of. It would have been nice to see all of the animals however some were hiding. For the most part we were able to see some pretty neat animals. I think I would come back in the summer with more time, you can rent bikes or take a train around the park for extra. It’s a fair bit of walking if you don’t choose one of these options. Overall a fun day and a great way to see some beautiful animals up close!

It’s a very lovely zoo. It’s relatively small compared to those massive fancy ones, but it’s really adorable and I love how active and happy the animals are. They seems to be respected and taken care of. We arrived in the afternoon and some of them are sleeping, but as it approaching dinner time, we did see interesting intersections. It probably takes 2-3 hours to walk around and finish the zoo, next time I will try to arrive in the early morning to make sure I can get some good photos.

We love the zoo. It is a great way to burn off some energy in a very safe environment! The enclosures are always getting better and we enjoy watching the zoo keepers add value to the animals lives with enrichments and affection. We feel the the family pass makes this one of the most cost effective outings to do with our family of five!

This place is a must! It is Huge, so plan to spend a few hours here if you really want to take it all in !! The animals have really large areas to roam in, so sometimes you don't always get to see them as close up as you would like, but they all seemed happy and well cared for ! The website for the Zoo is really lacking, its strange to navigate and it doesn't really explain all that you can do there !! There are these cool 2 person, side by side pedal bikes that hold up to 5 people! (I am assuming it might be a separate entity from the Zoo and maybe that's why we didn't see it on their website). The bike rentals are near the entrance once you pay to get in to the Zoo. There was a waiting list for the bikes when we went to go check them out, so we added our name (they said 45 min wait, which was free to add our name to, so we did). 25 mins later they called us and said our bike was ready, so we ran back to claim it! It was 20$ for an hour, which I thought was well worth the experience. We saw them cleaning the bikes down thoroughly. There is also a Train ride you can go on! (To buy tickets they are just after entering the Zoo, or online). I would recommend the train, its informative, kids loved it, we enjoyed it and it was 15 mins for 6$ each, under 2 free, worth it! There is also a great park for the kids! (In my photos). There is a consession at the beginning of the Zoo, and washrooms. There is also an little ice cream store half way through the Zoo, by the bears.
