Terra Breads

Delicious! Good atmosphere inside the bakery with plenty of seating (in non-covid times of course!) Great bread (especially the rosemary olive oil loaf), the tomato soup and veggie sandwiches are amazing. Also the focaccia is the BEST (no sharing because its too good!)

They are great at what they do: simple food, done well, good service. Not complicated but lovely. My favourite is the salmon sandwich - just the right amount of mayonnaise... and the fresh cucumber...yum!

Called to let them know they forgot to heat up my “hot pressed sandwich”. I was simply interested in informing the staff about the issue and they instantly started blaming me for not confirming that I wanted the sandwich heated up, that I should call door dash instead as they are not affiliated with them. Basically, I was surprised by the amount of attitude I received from just wanting to make them aware of a very small issue. The woman on the phone told me not to call again- which I obviously will not.

Their definition of 'fresh baked bread' and my definition are a little different! When I asked the staff before purchasing a $6.50 load and they stated the bread was fresh. So, I assumed when I brought it home it would be still warm. But actually it was cold, almost felt it had been refrigerated! I called and they said it won't be warm as it is baked at 3 a.m. and then transported from another location (must be in a cold truck). That's not fresh! Sounds like Panera Bread. Might as well use frozen or par-baked dough if that is what you are selling. This is a chain that has lost track of its quality -- don't bother going!

The bread is amazing! Try the turkey sandwich if you want a filling lunch. A little pricey but nothing out of the ordinary for Vancouver. Worth it!
