Chickpea Restaurant

The food here is phenomenal! I have been here for brunch and lunch and dinner, what can I say? No matter what time you go it's all good :). The wait for food can be a while but that just gives you chance to enjoy a drink and a chat 👌. Trust me, it's worth the wait!

Such amazing food. Fresh and delicious. The platter is the way to go! Chickpea fries, hummus, salad and a main. Little outdoor patio is quite nice with the heaters. Thanks for the great meal!

Restaurant was easy to find plenty of parking available around. They were pretty good in terms of social distancing measures. Ambience was good. We didn’t have to wait, got table quickly. Host and hostess are very friendly friendly and good at recommending if you need help ordering. We went full on with ordering appetisers. It was very tasty. Flavours were diverse. Unlike some vegan restaurant who standard flavours. We ordered Chikpea fries,Baba ganoush, Hatzilim. for main we ordered Shawarma. Quantity was pretty good.

CONTEXT: Online deliveries and take-out only (many times) So the menu here is absolutely fantastic. This place could and should be a vegan mecca. This said, the restaurant really needs to focus on quality control for take-out orders. I have had orders that are superb - can't get enough. The falafels are amazing, the chickpea fries are to die for, and the waffles with the tofu schnitzel are divine. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I have had hard and inedible waffles, chickpea fries that are cold, hard and swimming in their sweet chili sauce, or spices, and salad that is so drenched in dressing (that I am not crazy about to begin with) that it lands in the compost after eating only their signature pickle. I have ordered from this restaurant about 7 - 8 times and the quality control has been declining over time, to the point that I just stopped ordering from them altogether. For the price-point, my expectations are higher, and unfortunately they are no longer delivering against my expectations. It pains me to give a vegan restaurant a poor rating, but in this case I do suggest that you reconsider ordering from here. :-( UPDATE: I spoke to the General Manager and explained my experience. He seemed to take my concern seriously and offered compensation. I had a subsequent meal there and it was prepared perfectly. If this standard persists then I highly recommend the restaurant.

Had food delivered the other day. The chickpea fries were so stale, it felt more like chickpea CHIPS. And it was very early in the day, so I'm highly suspicious that it might've been cooked the previous day, however I don't want to be unfair here but this is really how it felt. Didn't give it one star since I had amazing food from here before, unfortunately this time wasn't one of them.
