One of my favourite places for a proper pint. Great atmosphere, wide selection of rotating seasonal beers, without a whole lot of preference to any specific brewery it seems - which I appreciate. Big TVs make it a great sports venue without the fact that it would have to be a sports venue, if that makes sense. I wouldn't be caught dead at a sports bar, but love to come here for casual viewing. Great concept.

It's Canucks game night so it took a while to get our food. It was all good though. I hadn’t been here before and thought I'd give them a try as part of Dine Out Vancouver. Good social distancing, clean, and all servers are masked. The onion rings were crispy and not over battered. The Fancy burger was good with the goat cheese but I don't know as I would pay the extra charge for it next time. The fancy sundae with the banana chips was worth it though.

Second time coming here as the first time was a great experience. Food here is great, a little overpriced but great! It’s usually the slow service that gets kind of annoying, especially since it’s never been crazy busy the two times I have been. And each time, something was missed or forgotten or we received the wrong item , ie wrong drink. Last time server was a male, very cool down to earth kind of guy. This time, we had a lady who seemed to be annoyed from the start the moment we chose where to sit and table was dirty so asked if she could clean it. She also seemed overly cheerful the remainder of the service, Almost in a mocking way? Took awhile to get our food but it was good. Due to the slow service (from taking our order to getting the food) and because we did not receive 1 item we ordered (we never mentioned it again and we didn’t complain) and because we got a different drink, we tipped..but it was a low tip. Server seemed stuck up about it and didn’t even say “thank you” or “have a nice day” just left the table as soon as we paid. Food is good, customer service/service needs improvement for sure. And I usually tip $10-$20 wherever I feel service was amazing, even if the cost of my food was low but this time was not it.

I don’t drink booze so can’t comment on that aspect but the food is so tasty. I loved everything I’ve had to eat there which is half the menu at this point but I’m a concerned about the crazy high prices for a sandwich/burger without a side or add one runs you $20 after tax but before tip. That’s B-A-N-A-N-A-S! If you’re wealthy enjoy yourself make it a three course w booze, you’re not effected by normal problems. If you’re strapped for cash like most people there’s better more affordable food.

Place was about 3/4 full, with a bartender and 2-3 servers. Yet still had to wait for 15 minutes for our server to take our drink order. The wine tasted like it had gone bad, but apparently it's because they get it in kegs? And the coke in my hi-ball was flat. Menu did look interesting. Stayed for 1 drink, laughed at the rip-off Charlie brown Christmas window paintings, and left.
