Les Faux Bourgeois is a high quality genuine French restaurant, with high value for your money. I'm a big guy with a large appetite and I left totally stuffed full of delicious food and happy! The escargot were great juicy little morsels to start, followed by the duck breast and mashed potatoes, and beef tartar with frites, plus the wine. The staff were also friendly and made us feel welcomed. My girlfriend and I were both satisfied that we chose the right restaurant to celebrate our 1-year anniversary.

Really great place. Went here with my parents and we def had enjoyment. We tried the escargot and the pork pate. The escargot were nice since they weren't only tasting of parsley like most I've tried. The pate was very salty for a few bites which was a bit intense for the buds. We then ordered the steaks which were absolutely devine. Tender, juicy and perfectly marinated. My mother got the mussels and fries. They were also great. A much more creamy sauce than you would normally get but I actually liked it more. A few issues I had was the music was too loud and there were never any candles placed on the table leaving us in adequate lighting at all times. Overall we left very happy.

This spot is the one I always prefer. I go to many restaurants but to this one I go the most. The stuff is very friendly and the cooking they cook is so appetizing. I never decline to have a decent dinner here. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, excellent service. They also take care of small details that you may or may not notice, like bringing you double servings of sauces when you share something. I will definitely come back.

Don't order the steak for takeout. The steak will continue to cook in it's heat as you're driving home, so if anything, order one level rarer. Our rare steak turned medium rare, and our medium rare turned well done. Also, two out of the three steaks were burnt on the outside. The fries were fantastic though. They were crispy on the outside and well cooked. However, it's not worth spending $25 for the steak to get really good fries. The "Conard Confit (duck)" was good, although the salad was a little too creamy. Overall, I wouldn't order from here again. I remember coming here before and forgot why I never came back. Now I remember. The food is too pricey for it's quality. Not worth it.
