Dockside Restaurant

My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate our birthdays and we had the best experience ever! The staff made our night very pleasant and memorable! I wish I could give more stars! The views are spectacular and the atmosphere is just great. You feel very welcomed as soon as you enter. The food is amazing! Best restaurant in Vancouver! I highly recommend this beautiful place. Thank you for making our night so special!

The food here is amazing. Felt safe as far as Covid restrictions. View is great. There are tiny little mice though on the outside patio area. Not super bothersome.....so small you may not even see them. Fave dishes : Kale ceaser, Risotto, brownie dessert

The food was absolutely amazing. We went with a group and tried a good number of the items on the menu, and everything we ate was fantastic. I'm having a hard time choosing a favourite but I definitely recommend the pork belly bites, sablefish, prawns, skillet cheese rolls, and potato salad. The drinks menu is so-so, but the food is phenomenal. Will be going back very soon.

Really enjoyed my time here. The waitress was super nice. Our plates were fast. We came for Happy hour on thanksgiving day, not too busy afternoon. But will be happy to come back to try more dishes.

I give this a 2 star for the amazing view on the patio. Overpriced food and drinks for what it is. The food was better than the cocktails that were made (even my guests didn't enjoy their cocktails). For example, I ordered an $18 cocktail and took two sips and did not enjoy it. As with other restaurants I've been to, I asked to send it back and ask for recommendations for another one. I was not going to sit there and try to enjoy my cocktail. I'm not sure if the waiter was new but he said "I can ask if you can take it back but I might have to charge you for it because I know that Dockside has a no return policy". I was extremely shock as all the upscale resturants I've been to and even non high end resturants like cactus club and earl's took back things the customer did not enjoy without any questions. Luckily, his manager did approve that he was able to send my drink back. However, just the fact that he had to ask. You would think a place of such caliber would empower the employees to give exceptional service. Throughout the night the service was okay. He was giving the "fake niceness" to his service. I could the customer service was not genuine as we didn't appreciate all the sarcasm in his tone when engaging with us. I would only go here if you want a nice view to enjoy a glass of wine or beer (drinks already made because you can't go wrong with that).
