Loved the sushi here. Some of the rolls were larger than I thought and the wait wasn't long!

I really enjoy this restaurant. I feel like their sushi is really good considering it's Steinbach. You'd pay more for the same quality in Winnipeg. I do find that service is hit or miss in terms of timeliness and checking up on my table, which is a bit of a drawback. My favourite roll has always been the dynamite roll but the last two times I've gone the shrimp tempura inside has been obviously a reheated or second-day piece. Pretty easy to tell since the tempura coating was soggy rather than crisp. I even added an order of tempura the second time (thinking that since the fryer was going they'd cook a fresh piece for my roll but no such luck). Overall I still like the place and I'll keep going back. Might not order the dynamite roll anymore since it's not great without that crispy tempura bite in the middle, but they have a lot of selection.

Sushi Garden has always been a favoured local spot for Asian cuisine with a strong focus on Japanese food. They will be happy to serve you everything from Seafood to Noodle/Stir Fry dishes and everything in between. A definite recommendation for any Sushi lover as you will not leave hungry or unsatisfied! As a bonus, this is a very quiet place to enjoy your food and escape the busy atmosphere of other noisy Main Street locations.

Really great food. Nice. Service was fantastic. We did take away and it was ready super fast. We are from Australia and it was quite comparable to some of the sushi there at a better price here. Highly recommended

This place was not as good as expected. They screwed up my whole order, gave me a beer that had been sitting in the fridge that was open the whole time and who knows for how long. The smoked salmon was definitely not smoked salmon. The sashimi was still frozen. Really horrible service. This is the first in a while time I've had this bad of service. The waitress never came back to see how my meal was. The experience all-around was bad. Can say that I'll never return to this restaurant again fortunately.
