Losing a loved one isn't easy but Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home helped us make planning the funeral a lot easier. We were really impressed on how smoothly the funeral went. We even got a lot of comments from friends that attended the funeral on how much they liked the setup and how smooth it went. And due to COVID, precautions were taken into account and we felt safe all the time. After guests left, staff would spray down the pews. They also kept count of how many guests were in the building and ensured we did not reach the maximum number of guests allowed in a gathering. All the staff there were awesome and compassionate, especially Gillian Wong who guided us through everything. We can't thank you enough!

Tony was readily available, listened to our mother’s wishes and provided us with exactly what we wanted. In addition, the 2 team members who attended the funeral with Tony were outstanding. Tony Hicks our funeral director went above and beyond. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of the questions that myself and family had. On the day of the funeral everything went more perfect then I could’ve imagined because of the staff. I lost my mom and the way the funeral turned out would’ve put a smile on her face. We had very difficult time with my mother unexpected death. It was extremely difficult to organize everything according to her wishes during COVID restrictions. Tony was extremely sensitive and helpful in spite of my multiple calls and requests. Thank you very much, Tony, for your support! GV
