Teresa's Coffee Shop

Hands down the best fresh made sandwiches anywhere. I spend summers in Kaslo and this is my favourite lunch spot. There's no question it's a local joint: the decor is modest, and the atmosphere slow and easy. I've read people complain about walking in and being stared at, but those reviewers just need to nod and say hello. It's a tiny town with a laid back vibe. End of story. Loved this place from the first bite.

Got a sausage roll and a slice of apple pie. The sausage roll was cold, she didn't serve with heating it up. But the taste was decent. The apple pie was pretty sour and the filling was so runny. It didn't taste fresh at all. Absolutely would not recommend the apple pie. Cash only. Service is ok, not the friendliest.

Fun place to visit, mini museum downstairs. Lots of mining history!

Very small town feel and conventional home made food, fresh and local.

Cash only is a bit of nuisance. But cute and good coffee.
