When I needed to start filing my U.S. return, I got a referral from my brother, Oyster Jim Martin, to Leakey & Lewicki. I feel so fortunate to have latched onto Spencer Leakey. For the last several years I have been 100% satisfied with the work from L&L, especially Spencer. He is always prompt to answer emails, even on the weekends. He is very patient with this "senior" and her sometimes silly questions. The whole office is very professional and thorough, so thankful to have the support from Leakey & Lewicki.

We are required to submit both a Canadian and a US tax return annually. In years past we were using our US tax accountant, as well as a Canadian accountant here in Canada. It was expensive and not well coordinated, because of the separation between the two organizations. We had the good fortune of meeting Spencer Leakey prior to this tax season. He took over both returns, processed them quickly and efficiently, and saved us a significant amount of money. He was ready to answer any questions that we had, resolved some outstanding questions that had concerned us for some time, was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. The staff was also very helpful. We strongly recommend him and his firm, Leakey and Lewicki Ltd.

Leakey and Lewicki have been handling our family's personal taxes, small business taxes and payroll since the beginning of our business. Their entire staff is helpful, friendly and extremely professional. Both our taxes and our monthly payroll are always done promptly and correctly, with no errors and the money we have saved on our taxes is well worth the cost of the service. In addition, the staff always make time to sit down with us to answer questions patiently and provide advice. As a small business, it would be easy for us to be overlooked compared to larger corporations but we have always felt like valued and important clients here.

After both my parents passed away, I didn’t want to handle the tax returns myself as executor of both estates so I brought them to Leakey and Lewicki where they were handled by Spencer Leakey. Spencer is extremely knowledgeable, had really helpful advice and spent a ton of time answering my questions. He was also really patient and understanding when I had difficulty locating the necessary paperwork to complete the tax returns. Dealing with estates is a super stressful experience but Spencer’s professionalism and competent, friendly staff actually made dealing with the tax portion the easiest part of the whole estate process.
