Delightful!! Lots of free-roaming animals you can get close to (birds, cats, llamas in a big pen you can go into) which you don't see very often with zoos. Especially nice in the evening when there aren't many people.
Favorite place to visit.
My wife and I enjoyed it here as much as our son. The monkeys were a highlight for us and there are many more animals to see. The forest is especially beautiful if you go during the fall colours.

Tried creating natural habitat for animals which is really appreciating. Must visit. Also they have delicious food in the canteen. Enjoyed my visit.
I love this zoo. They seem to really care for the animals and the grounds look well taken care of. They have a gift shop and canteen, pony rides for the kids and if you go at certain times, you can watch the animals be feed. My only issue is the Tiger and bear enclosures. They look too small to me. I would think a Tiger would like to run and the bear seems very lonely. Other than that, this place is a great day trip!
