Enjoyed walking the grounds of this interesting and historically significant site. Despite the rain and closure of buildings (off season + COVID + maintenance), it was a worthwhile stop. I hope to return next year when it is fully open to more completely experience the site.
What a beautiful place. Love walking through the grounds. The church was undergoing some construction but what I could see if the outside it looked beautiful.
Visited during covid so the interpretive centre was closed but a very beautiful and well kept historic site. A must see if in the area! Beautiful walk with lots of history
I am from Halifax. I went there on a Sunday, and I arrived 10 minutes before closing time. I am not sure if the admission is free, or they let me in for free for 5 minutes. And I spent some time after outside. The area is beautiful, and there were lots of nice flowers and trees. It was a relatively short visit, but it was nice.
Very interestung and educational! Beautifully landscaped and maintained. With active archeological sites during open season, a sense of being an active part of bringing history to life can be felt.
