FYidoctors - Carstairs

I am utterly disappointed in FYI doctors, both Airdrie and carstairs clinics. I’ve been using them for multiple years and continue to have screw ups. They once gave me the wrong contact lens causing me to have to make extra trips into Airdrie. I order sunglasses from them and they were way different from the sample ones. I was able to get a new pair fortunately. Once I got that new pair, the lenses came back in black as opposed to brown like I had requested. I’ve recently been in touch with them regarding new contacts. They require me to come in for a new appointment because the most recent one I had was just for glasses. I have to come in for another appointment which is money out of my pocket. I called to book this appointment but they told me the contacts would be at the clinic I’m 3-5 days (this is just for the try on). It has now been a week and I still have not heard from them. Super frustrated. Unfortunately, there are no other eye doctors close by to use. Hopefully this review will provide some insight into a patients experience which they can use to improve services.

My son and I both got glasses from here, very unimpressed with their service. Mostly due to the staff lack of professionalism and attention to detail. Its really really bad to hear them discussing other clients and back stabbing their other colleagues. Then they treat you as if they are doing you a favor, wrong, treat people like they mean something to you. The glasses we got were covered in fingerprints and just looked like sloppiness. I went to the airdrie location and totally the opposite, great service, feel valued. Carstairs you really need to remember what customer service is, in this day and age youre lucky to have a job.

A very professional atmosphere, all the staff are knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions. Great job carstairs!!

Great friendly happy staff great doctors and normally on time
