Bharat Mata Mandir

Called the temple for doing navgraha pooja. The priest seemed to care only about money and did not explain anything regarding pooja. He kept insisting that temple charges were separate and his charges or priest dakshina separate. From the looks of it he only seemed to care about his pocket and nothing else. Got reference of a very good priest from a family friend. He didn't insist anything so we were more than happy to give him double than what the priest at Bharat Mata Mandir quoted.

We had my son's baby shower last year. Based on that experience i went last month to book program for my brother's family. Looks like there is new management and change of priests. First time I went there was no one except an elderly volunteer who did not know about booking. He gave me priest contact number and asked to deal directly with him. I don't want to get into details about priest behavior and attitude as though he owned the temple and was final authority. Secondly he gave very high charges (almost double from last year) stating the temple charges were different from priest charges and donation receipt will be issued only for temple charges. We held our function at another temple but this left a very bitter experience. Last year there was a very humble and knowledgeable young priest who handled everything so well and only took temple and food charges and issued full amount receipt. When I asked this new priest if I can talk to anyone from management, he said he is the final authority by management for program bookings.

A very nice mandir. Has murtis of Sant Dyaneshwar, Jalaram Bappa, Parshuram, Sai Baba which are not seen in many temples.

Good place to worship Hindu gods. Cleanliness should be first priority in this temple. The management is doing well to maintain washrooms clean but devotes should also take care to keep high standards.

Agree with some people here. Went on Friday evening. A volunteer with normal clothes was doing aarti and offering prasad. There was no brahman pandit. Some devotee was doing pooja on shivling for so long. No one was there to guide others to offer jal on shivling.
