Applewood Heights Secondary School

It's really good .

This is certainly not the greatest school in Mississauga and there are definitely many things the school should improve on. The reason I'm posting this is because I'm hoping the school could improve on these issues. 1. Teachers - There are a very few great teachers I have met so far and quite are few of them are helpful. But I have to say some teachers can't teach and they are very unprofessional. - Most teachers should focus more on building relationship with their students and some should start learning their names instead of calling them " people ". - Some teachers lack a positive attitude and fail to foster perseverance in class which make a lot of kids look down on themselves. - Team coaches are very nice and happy. I love them - Support teachers are really helpful! 2. Students - There are definitely A LOT of international students at this school which makes me think if they ever use that money to upgrade the school. Exceptions: The field and Bathroom sinks - Students are okay I guess? But some are really smart. 3. Building - Since the school is very old, the structure itself looks very old and bad giving it a bad first impression, downgrading it. - The washrooms are old and a little dirty because students don't know how to flush. - We need better gym equipment's for a RSP school. - We really need AC for the summer T_T - Art room has some issues with it's heater. 4. Extracurricular - We have a very decent DECA program. Students just need more training sessions. - We have a clubs such as math, chess, computer, etc. - Waterloo math contest. 5. Food -Food are overpriced and there isn't much of a variety. - I love the fresh cookies though. Summary I'm writing this hoping the school can improve on the building conditions and the some teachers style of teaching. But still, the school is acceptable and average for an Ontarian high school.

Sports stars offers the soccer game for toddlers, pre-schoolers. Coach Andrew is fantastic training the kids.

This school seriously need AC for the summer. During the winter, they also turn on the fan in the cafeteria. There are lot of counselors available for student. However, Miss Yen,M in charge of international student didn't do a good job. She wasn't helpful and informative about helping student picking courses, informative when advising student, and advice about immigration documentation.

Didn't return my money when I returned my books and locker key. Greedy greedy
