Coming from a large city where most everything food wise is sterile, and or chemical based. I.e. think, any Food Chain! How refreshing it is to dine somewhere where everything is created from scratch just for you. The taste screams "Fresh". From the Homemade bread, fresh made coffee, and of course, the Main course and desert. Maybe you've had vegetable soup, but have you had truly fresh vegetable soup?? Or really Fresh seafood??? The flavours Pop! Leave you stereotypical aspirations behind. Book your meal preference online. Travel the one road on the island and immerse yourself in a whole new world. The music. The views. The hospitality. Our hosts even spoke English with us as can many of the guests. So.... Sit back and relax, Bring your own wine and go back in time to a time, when we were all part of a larger family unit than just ourselves. You may see a cat outside working or hear a dog's bark... ...but look forward, for flavour!

THE restaurant of Ile verte. Madame Michelle is cooking eveything herself fresh with the delivery on the island. She will ask you by email what you want to eat and will prepare a menu accordingly based on delivery. Everything is so tasty. Make sure you reserve way in advance as the restaurant is really small and she makes it personnalized. You will be full when you get out of the place. A great opportunity to walk back to your place. A not to miss on the island.

First of all remember to book as soon as possible because the room is small (12 seats); Just tell you they have reservations for October so we're just in June Michelle and her husband welcome us to their home and offer us good comforting grandma cooking. Lovers of fish and other seafood will be delighted !! This is not a restaurant like any other, it's an extension of their kitchen where they invite us, where the other guests will become your friends for the evening. I felt at home without fuss or frills, just good food prepared with love at a more than reasonable price Thank you, you contributed to the beauty of our stay
