I am a frequent flyer from Schiphol. Its truly one of the best airports of the world. Well connected with flights from all countries. Have descent shopping experience with lot of duty free goods. Easy accessibility with train, bus, taxi. Only thing i feel missing is a good Indian / Vegan food point.

I was very impressed with this airport when I traveled to Amsterdam. I came to the airport few hours early due to a mix up with flight details.... so gave me lots of time to look around. Staff at the airport were very friendly. Not just the airport employees but the staff employed at the various shops and restaurants as well. There’s lots of options for eating and shopping if that’s how you pass time. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax as they have seating everywhere.

The airport is good and has a lot of amenities. Despite the size, it is very easy to navigate here. Food prices are high, and the building is looking a bit dated. Some toilet groups are old, although they are reasonably clean. The train connections are excellent. Some auto walks are out of service, but this may be because of major works in the building. I gave one star because of the poor Covid measures. People were bumping me and there really was no distance. Shops had empty disinfection pumps. The staff was also not keeping distance, for example those that regulate crowds or that read your boarding pass, even when they could. The staff did nothing to enforce the rules, even if it happened right before their eyes. I understand people have some responsibility on their own, but the airport didn't even seem to be trying.

Due to the pandemic, there was barely any crowd and majority of the shops inside aren't open but you can still get food to eat and find a spaced out place to sit. Mask policy is in place too. Felt safe, I and my family flew KLM and the checking in section was on point with helpful staff observing proper health protocol too. I'm not used to this airport having an empty feel but that's fine with me for the good of humanity.

One of the largest airports. Very busy but security checking is relatively faster and smoother. I like the fact they don't frisk people instead scan the full body using a large rotating scanning machine. The train station is conveniently accessible from the airport itself. There are regular buses and taxis available just outside.
