Massive. They have tried to make the navigation as easy as possible. Maintains the historical look. Has separate sections for VIA and GO Transit which ensures that you do not mix up your trains.

A very massive but very well done train/subway/bus station. The inside is both modern but also historical with some amazing looking architecture, the rail lines are easy to get to and are clearly marked. The connection with the underground subway is very nice as well. It's also a couple blocks away from streetcars.

Union is awesome and the billions in renovations are 100% going to be worth it (already mostly complete)

I've visited this station for the first time and I was really amazed when I saw how large this station is. It's like an airport. The system of this system is great. Even in this pandemic, the management of this station has kept great awareness and precautions for travellers.

Extremely useful hub for a number of different ways to get around. Could it be better? Absolutely. Are they working to make it better? All the renovations seem to say yes. Do they need to get the renovations done ASAP? Without a doubt. It's the eternal state of under construction that makes Union less than ideal. In the end, as with all transit, the route to being ideal is 99.999% being reliably functional, and, optimistically, we have to believe that Union is trying to be just that.
