Mount Seymour Drycleaners

Tried this cleaners for the first time as it's closer to home. Service was curt & rude from the start. Don't care if results are good. Brought in a jacket that had coffee spilled on it (dropped off same day as spill). They were unable to remove the stains at all but made it worse. Jacket ruined. He said I should return the jacket because there was something wrong with the fabric. He charged me full price plus extra for trying to clean it twice. He said normally he wouldn't but it's the jackets fault not his. The price was outrageous. I told him I want to support local business and that we are all in this together but this was making it impossible. He became defensive and said not his fault. Perhaps thats true and I didn't accuse of anythihg because Im not in the business of stains. However I am a business owner and feel this is an absolutely unacceptable way to treat anyone. An apology or even "sorry we tried" and a small discount (I didn't even expect free and appreciate the time and effort put into working on it) would have been appropriate. Instead I left with a 40 dollar tab (including one other item) a ruined jacket and was literally yelled out the door. Astounding. Times are tough, treating customers like this is bad business on so many levels. I'm sorry this didn't work out. I'm sure it's fine if there are no issues with your clothes but beware if there is an issue no matter what it’s your fault or your clothes fault!

I was in a pinch and desperately needed a dress shirt for a job interview, explained my situation to Eddie and he lent me a shirt. Didn't ask for anything in return after, I think I nailed the interview and I couldn't have done it without him
