Always good always tolerant of my drunk yet respectful friends
Thought the fried chicken was tasteless, get better at Church's. The meal I ordered was cold even though it was served in a hot stone bowl. The top was hot but when you got to the middle it was cold. Pretty disappointing. Heard good things about it but my experience said otherwise.
This Korean BBQ restaurant is located in an area with many similarly styled restaurants. This leads one to believe it will be good. However, when the words fried chicken are in the name and you receive once-fried, now-reheated chicken, ya just have to shake your head. Hard, old dried up chicken slathered in too sweet sauce. Make it fresh. It's so easy to make it fresh fried chicken! You can do better! Make it fresh, invite me back and I'll change my review, because that's was inedible.
Best Korean fried chicken hands down. Quick and friendly service. We get their chicken for take out once a week lol.
This place used to be a lot better when they were a smaller shop in Coquitlam. At the current spot, the decor hasn't changed since ownership of the property changed hands. I felt weird the whole time while I was eating here. The chicken was okay but wasn't served hot as you'd expect for fried chicken. The sauce wasn't to my liking, having a strong cinnamon taste which seemed unusual for yangnyeom sauce. Also the server didn't wear a mask which really didn't sit well with me. I do remember the boss being much friendlier so it may have just been a one off with a subpar staff.
