Old Yale Road Elementary School

The teachers here are great. I'm one who has been paying close attention to the evolution of OYR and for the most part its a decent inner city school. Although I find the principal, Lisa Jamieson to be unwelcoming and aloof. I have heard about her interactions with the students and it's mainly authoritative rather then warm and approachable. It's time to see someone of higher caliber be appointed to head the operation of this school.

Fairly dog friendly as the grass field is rarely used on weekends or evenings. Of course being a school dogs are not allowed so be aware of who is near by.

They need to add new basketball courts

this school is awesome the boys and girls club isn't that bad awesome staff and students
