The staff at this center are amazing! They were thoughtful, friendly, and helpful. My two eldest sons participated in the Junior Paleontologist session and had a blast. They are thrilled to be taking home unexplored rocks to try their hand at paleontology with their grandmother back home.
I was thrilled to find beautiful jewellery handcrafted by a local artisan from silver and polished gems in the gift shop. I'm now the proud owner of a lapis lazuli bracelet and couldn't be happier. If you have kids 6-12, and you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out their website to see about signing your kids up for the Saturday Junior Paleontologist Sessions.
What a great little museum! Super interesting tour! The young girl at the reception made our visit so very special and it was her first week there! She was an absolute diamond. Also, our tour guide for the Spokane tour was an absolute delight. She was so knowledgable and it was so much fun listening to her! Thanks again!

So many trains, so much history. Brilliantly laid out. Well worth the time and money!
For the Train history buff this is a must stop location! It covers the history of trains through the kootenays and Western Canada.
