Great way to travel. Did the overnight from Halifax to Quebec City. Great food & great service. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Picked up an older couple, kept clean, staff was very helpful and we were kept well informed of changes in schedule

It was over all a great experience, i think they could make some improvements,, its not nice when you can't pay with cash which is legal tender ,, and i was a bit lost when i hot on the train,, but i would love to ride again ,, and some one was in my seat

The staff are for the most part very nice, aside from receiving a lot of resentment for asking for ice in a cup one time. The quality of the train cars dated, to put it mildly. In either case the value for money in convenience or comfortability is simply not there compared to other forms of travel. Every hour someone comes on the PA in Economy and very pretentiously showcases what is happening for the sleeper car passengers (e.g. wine and cheese). This a 21 hour train ride... I don't care. Perhaps it is a marketing tactic but if you're trying to get some sleep it is a source of irritation.
