A1Hotel

Our Company was working near Bassano and our crew stayed at the A1 Motel. DJ and his family were fantastic. Always helpful and willing to accommodate whatever we needed. I highly recommend this motel. Clean rooms and a comfortable stay. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Pros: Conveniently located if you really need to stop in that area. Clean, new air conditioning, nice beds, average pillows, fridge and microwave oven. There is an inexpensive Chinese restaurant in town with savoury food, large portions and not expensive. Cons: Expedia web page indicated that breakfast was included, but the guy at the hotel told me that it was not do to COVID-19, and that he had said so on the hotel’s webpage. We did not get a discount. Since fee was not refundable, we decided to stay anyways. There is basically no attractions in town, so we basically just slept there. WiFi was Ok, but if you need to send a large file such a short video, speed is frustrating. Room said it was non-smoking, but I could actually smell smoke. In the morning, I saw an ashtray set on our room’s air conditioning. Shower soap was that small, that it broke when I started taking a shower and disappeared before I finish. There was a half-finished toilet paper and nothing more. We were 4 in the room and had to get more toilet paper from the reception. In addition, I think that the tissue paper had 2 sheets only, therefore, that increased the use of toilet paper.

I absolutely loved my stay. It's so clean and cozy. Loved the shower! The bed was so comfortable and I just can't say enough good things about the owners, they are awesome! Thank you so much for great punjabi Home made food as well, feels like family!!!!!!

The family owned Motel vibe is really nice, they do an amazing job at keeping the place clean and friendly. The rooms may seem a little dated, but they are in the process of upgrading as well 😊 The beds are comfortable, the shower pressure is fantastic and the rooms are dead quiet. If you're working in the area or just passing through this is the place to stay.

Great location off the beaten path. If your driving through calgary, this is the perfect place to stay. Rooms are super clean and quite for sleep.Staff is incredibly friendly. They value their customers a lot. Lots of parking for big vehicles such as trucks. We stayed for a trucking job near to the hotel, so we definitely recommend A1 Motel Bassano.
