Putting Horse Ranch

I'll definitely be back to Putting Horse Ranch. The property, people and of course the horses are certainly worth the visit. My kids are 5 and 9 and each had an awesome introduction to horse-back riding. The elder one took the private lesson. A memorable experience for all. Liz was amazing with us all. Thank you!

My partner and I bought a season membership (at an very affordable price) and have gone 15+ times this summer. Every interaction we have with Chris and Liz has been 100% friendly and accommodating. They'll often check up on us as we're leaving to make sure we had a good time. I can't recommend this place enough. Great atmosphere, well kept grounds and very friendly owners. Super happy to support a local business and plan to keep coming back (with more friends and family).

A hidden gem! We visited Putting Horse Ranch during Alberta Open Farm Days for our four year old boys to try out riding. It was their first time on a horse and they had the best time! Liz, one of the friendly owners, and her twin helpers were wonderful with our twins. Before we left, Chris, the other co-owner, invited us to check out the Ranch’s 18 hole mini put golf course complete with a creek and a pond with swans in it. It was lovely! My husband and our boys returned the same day to try it out. Once again, they had a fantastic time. Highly recommend Putting Horse for families and it would even be great for a date night! We’ll be back!

AMAZING! I couldn’t recommend this more! Liz was outstanding. Reason 1 that Putting Horse Ranch is amazing was Liz. She was kind, patient, attentive, caring, and most of all she’s a horse pro. This was our first experience with horses and Liz had us understanding not only what to do, but why. She built confidence in us which allowed for and even better ride. Reason 2, the experience itself. This was amazing. We got to be hands on with the horses learning about how they are cared for and what the horses expect from the riders. It was amazing to get to ride and get such quality time in the saddle. Reason 3, was the ranch itself. The horses are not only cared for, but loved. The experience was amazing, but knowing that the horses we shared the day with are loved and cared for to such an extent also builds confidence in knowing that supporting such a great business goes towards quality care. Thank you so much Putting Horse Ranch! Side note: We did not get a chance to golf today due to our own plans, but as a golfer the setup looked great. We’ll be returning in the future and I’m for sure going to try it out.

Great experience today, we went during Covid and it was very clean! Liz was great with teaching our 9 year old about safety as it was his first time! Beautiful land and trail they take you on. We will be back for the same and different events throughout the year.
