As a student, I wasn't very positive about the experience here. However I have found success in life. You will only learn as much as you attempt to. Most of the teachers were really chill. Aside from grade 9 life was pretty relaxed. The grade 9 teacher stopped working there, the next year. So the remaining teachers are probably all the fantastic ones still. Don't stress over grades, some people exagerate how important k-12 is. Just be sure to pass your finals. Automotives, computer sciense/multimedia/comprog are the best options to take. If you foccus on Automotives you can easily become a journeyman. Foccus on computer classes become a web designer or social media manager. Or just sleep in class, pass your exams and sloth through a relaxed life. I frequently slept in classes and was only herassed about it twice. Teachers understand, life is hard and you can't be bothered. They will still inspire you when possible. Students were welcoming, frequently inviting me to clubs/sports and parties. But almost as frequently I was threatened of being stabbed by others, if I went to these parties so I never did. Use common sense, Lethbridge is a hell hole. I moved to Calgary as soon as I graduated. I got into sales and web development. I own my second property at 23. Both on mortgage but enough liquadable assets to cover either.
