Super 8 by Wyndham Fox Creek

I come here for the restaurant not the hotel. The food is awesome. They have some great specials and staff are very nice.

We wish we would have read the reviews before we booked there. Wish I could have given them a 0 star. Extreme maintenance is in need. We had no heat in our room and nothing was done to correct it except to give us portable heater. When I asked for blankets I felt was putting the guy at the front desk out. He was very rude. There are too many issues with this motel to get into but we do not advise anyone to stay there. Very over priced for what you get. Only good thing is the restaurant attached to it which has great food, great portions, great service.

This is a very old building that's been very poorly maintained over the years. Rooms are in semi decent to poor condition, poor heat control, bed was decent, as well as fridge and microwave were good in rooms. Room lamps are very old and the extra plugins on lamps don't work. Bathrooms look ok however taps in shower work but not correctly and shower heads stay water every direction. The restaurant is mediocre food at best and if you complain about the food quality you're still paying full price with lame excuses why it's prepared that way. Worst experience was we got a large snowfall 8" plus one day and there is ZERO maintenance done to clear it so you don't have to walk in 8" or deeper snow everywhere you go or slipping on ice under it. They don't even clear the parking area during the day when the place is empty. For the "price".... It's terrible. Do yourself a favour and stay at one of the newer hotels.

Sink taps were broken. Spun all the way around, took a long time to get my hot water for some reason, checked us into our co-workers room where he was staying when we had our own room to check into.
