great smaller aquarium with all of the local marine life present including baby salmon, moray eels and a pacific giant octopus! many skeletons including an adult orca. Stories and games for little ones every 1/2 hour and fantastic location at Beacon park waterfront in Sidney. Tip- aquarium parking is available under the hotel beside it.

Great place to take kids and their aquarium loving father. Short but sweet outing. Lots of interesting local sea life to learn about.

What a cute little aquarium. Went during the old CoVid times so the touch pool was closed but that barely made a jot of difference. We brought our 9-month old and he had a wonderful time. All the staff were informative and kind. It was largely peaceful and we could tell the fish were treated well and the lack of sea mammals was a real comfort, it felt morally aligned with our values too. The price point is the real seller here too. It feels like you really get your value for your money and and not a penny more or less would feel the same. We would visit again when the baby is a little older but we all had such a nice time.

Love this place the staff are friendly. The kiddo loves this place to its well worth it to check it out.
